    Westbrook Family Fun Day

Westbrook local, Clayton Rogers has ensured the Westbrook Family Fun Day will take place for a second year having received a $1000 grant as part of PwC’s Value Exchange Program.

The Westbrook Family Fun Day will take place on 21 October 2012 at the Westbrook’s Centenary Park from 10:30am to 5:00pm. The fun day will feature a range of activities including jumping castles, music, and rides as well as a BBQ, various food stalls and a skating ramp. The activities come free of charge, and the BBQ has a minimal fee with all profits going back to the local school P & C. The fun day is part of Toowoomba’s 2012 Family Week.

Clayton said “I was shocked and excited when I received the grant. We had been biting our fingernails in anticipation. It’s a great chance for our community to celebrate our identity.”

The grant will enable him to cover all the operational costs for the day. It also means he will be able to provide all activities free of charge, an initiative we hope will stimulate greater community involvement and participation.
